Affordable student housing in NYC with a true Islamic environment
Welcome to Fatih Dormitory
Finding affordable student housing in NY that aligns with your values can be challenging. To meet this need, the United American Muslim Association (UAMA), in partnership with the Brooklyn Fatih Mosque community, established Fatih Dormitory. Located right next to the mosque, our facility offers a safe, peaceful, clean, and dedicated Islamic environment for student housing in NYC, tailored specifically for young Muslim men.
Our building is also very close to many major universities, including:
- LIU Brooklyn (Long Island University)
- NYU (New York University – Manhattan)
- Pace University (Manhattan)
- Baruch College (CUNY)

What we offer
New York City is a very expensive city. High housing costs make it hard for students to find a good place to live. Because of this, many students have to choose places that are cheap but not comfortable.
To help solve this problem, UAMA (United American Muslim Association) and the Brooklyn Fatih Mosque community opened a student dormitory right next to the mosque.
At Fatih Dormitory, we provide everything needed for a successful academic year. Our full board Muslim dormitory in Brooklyn includes:
- Three halal meals a day in our dining hall
- Special rooms for studying and relaxing
- A laundry room inside the building and a quiet library

However, UAMA and the Fatih Mosque Community offer a special scholarship program for students who meet our rules.
